Description The Initial Contact and Access (ICA) area in Human Services and Public Health is seeking a Senior Planning Analyst - Project Management Coordinator. This position's primary focus will work with the ICA management team to support various projects related to increasing access to overall human services programs including housing stabilization services, health care and health programs. This position will provide project management support, direction, data analysis, and planning. This position will also facilitate and assist with the development of project timelines, tracking tools, collect outcomes, support process development, and work as a member of multiple collaborative projects. Remote workers may be required to come on-site an average of 0 to 12 days a year for work meetings, trainings, or for any other reasons that their supervisor may deem necessary (may include additional days for onboarding and new employee training). Supervisors will provide as much advance notice as practicable. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. While this position is designated as remote, based on current requirements hires must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin. New employees who are hired into remote or hybrid positions between January 2, 2022, to December 31, 2024, will receive $500 toward the cost of establishing consistent internet connectivity, payable upon completion of 6 months of employment. In this position, you will:
Serve as the project and program analyst to support various projects related to increasing access to overall human services programs including housing stabilization services, health care and health programs.
Develop program requirements and project demand for services including business processes for tracking applications for publicly funded programs.
Develop implementation plans, goals, objectives, and measurements using criteria established by the service area.
Evaluate program results and prepare reports for service area and leadership to assist in the decision making for organizational and/or community program planning.
Identify means to determine cost-benefit analysis, financial investment, update performance, and other assistance as needed.
Establish a reporting schedule to ensure financial expenditures and revenue are being tracked and recorded.
Lead broad business workflow analysis, work across multiple service or program areas creating reports, project descriptions, and analysis.
Need to have:
One of the following:
Bachelor's degree in any field and a minimum of two courses in research methods, analysis, statistics, project management, planning or evaluation and 18 months or more of relevant planning analyst experience.
Bachelor's degree in one of the fields listed below and one year or more of relevant planning analyst experience.
Master's degree or higher in business administration, public administration, research methods, statistics, behavioral/social science, public health, computer science/MIS, management science, urban/city planning or a field appropriate to the area of specialization.

Applying principles and practices of planning and program evaluation.
Using applications for data analysis and reports such as Microsoft Access, Excel and/or similar.

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Build and nurture collaborative relationships with a variety of customers/partners, both internal and external.
