Description
Hennepin County Library is looking to fill an Administrative Assistant position at their Library Budget & Finance Office.
Location and hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at 12601 Ridgedale Dr. Minnetonka, MN 55305 and remote as job duties require. The hours are flexible with standard hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. While this position is designated as remote based on current requirements hires must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin.

This is a full time, benefit earning position. You must be a regular or probationary employee of the Hennepin County Library to apply for this position.

In this position, you will:
· Assist in budget analysis and preparation as needed.
· Investigate and recommend action regarding complaints about services, operations, policies, or procedures.
· Select, develop, implement, and administer established training programs.
· Supervise or lead team members in the department.
Need to have:
· One of the following:
o Bachelor's degree or higher in education, public administration, or other field appropriate to the position.
o Four or more years of general administrative work experience relating to the position or in a specialty area appropriate to the position may be substituted.
Nice to have:
· Experience:
o Working in the Library Budget and Finance Office.
o With supervising a team.
o Teaching or leading staff with learning new tools, approaches, and strategies.
o Applying organization skills to various tasks such as setting up meetings and preparing agendas.
