Description
Hennepin County's Communications department is seeking a Campaign Coordinator to work with our creative division, internal subject matter experts, and external agency partners to coordinate multiple high-profile education and awareness campaigns in partnership with county departments and help measure campaign impact on reducing disparities and advancing equity.We are looking for candidates with a passion for community impact and experience managing projects or programs, improving processes, and leading evaluation and reporting.Location and hours:This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at the Hennepin County Government Center, 300 South 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55487 and remote as job duties require. Work hours will typically be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with occasional evenings and/or weekends. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.New employees who are hired into remote or hybrid positions between January 2, 2022, to December 31, 2024, will receive $500 toward the cost of establishing consistent internet connectivity, payable upon completion of 6 months of employment. About this position type:This is a full-time, benefit-earning position. You must be a current regular or probationary employee of Hennepin County. Limited duration employees not eligible. This position is a job mobility assignment, with participation for up to 12 months. A mobility assignment is a voluntary job change to a different department that is filled by a regular or probationary employee to carry out the duties of the same or a different job class. Mobility assignments allow employees to develop a particular expertise and prepare for promotional opportunities as well as facilitate, support, and accelerate knowledge transfer across departments. Job mobility assignments are temporary; employees typically return to their original department at the conclusion of their mobility assignment. This position is internally classified as a Planning Analyst, Senior.Click here to view the job classification specification.In this position, you will:
· Act as primary point of contact for agency, creative, and business area partners.
· Vet and route campaign-related service requests.
· Shape scope of work, timelines, and budgets.
· Schedule and facilitate meetings.
· Document decision-making and provide timely follow-up.
· Facilitate media strategy and creative proposal review, and flag potential review issues.
· Create and update project documentation.
· Work with agency partners on translation review processes.
· Partner with Purchasing and Contract Services to advance campaign procurement plans and work orders, monitor contract dates and limits, and determine availability of funding.
Need to have:
· One of the following:
o Bachelor's degree in any field and a minimum of two courses in research methods, analysis, statistics, project management, planning or evaluation and 18 months of relevant planning analyst experience.
o Bachelor's degree in one of the fields listed below and one year of relevant planning analyst experience.
o Master's degree or higher in business administration, public administration, research methods, statistics, behavioral/social science, public health, computer science/MIS, management science, urban/city planning or a field appropriate to the area of specialization.

· Ability to:

o Maintain effective working relationships with others.
o Facilitate group discussions and make presentations.
o Prepare data-rich progress and project reports for leadership.
