ROLE DESCRIPTION OneOme is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead and drive initiatives for our products and services. In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team to define and deliver new offerings as well as enhancements to our existing platform. As a member of the Product team at OneOme, you’ll partner closely with design, software engineering, clinical and operational leads, executives, and other stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of our users and to craft compelling solutions for them. You’ll have an opportunity to play a hands-on execution and leadership role in every aspect of the product lifecycle. This role will be responsible for overseeing OneOme’s suite of products, including RightMed Analysis (a pharmacogenomic test), Vantage (an interactive clinical decision support tool for providers), OneOme’s provider and patient portals, population stratification tools, and our lab and interpretation software. An ideal candidate will have had proven success in managing multiple products and has experience relevant to the spaces OneOme operates within. RESPONSIBILITIES Product organization and processes Be the voice of the user. Thoroughly understand user needs, including conducting user research and usability testing in conjunction with designers. Define and analyze product metrics to inform decision-making and measure success. Leverage market analysis, competitive knowledge, and customer research to define and validate both a roadmap and detailed product plans. Prioritize features and functionality in line with company goals and user needs. Engage with customers and key internal stakeholders to validate and ensure that product plans will achieve desired business objectives. Drive alignment and effective solving across the organization, including the leadership team. Develop and communicate detailed product requirements and groom the backlog. Work with designers and engineers to ensure successful delivery of new features and functionality. Drive test case development and product testing. Write release documentation and train internal stakeholders on new features. Keep stakeholders informed by sharing progress on existing product initiatives as well as future roadmap plans. Help identify and drive process improvements for the Product team. Work with marketing to develop positioning and messaging for products and services QUALIFICATIONS BA or BS required Experience with all phases of the product lifecycle as well as prior experience managing successful product launches Ability to work well on a highly collaborative and cross-functional team, with senior leadership, and with external customers and partners Listens well, with a curiosity and passion to learn more about your users, our market, our product, the competitive landscape, and much more Demonstrated leadership and strong, proactive ownership over one’s area of responsibility; has an innate sense of accountability, attention to detail, and an execution-oriented mindset Ability to think strategically and analytically while operating in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and solid presentation skills 5+ years of demonstrated experience in product management within successful SaaS, enterprise software, or health tech organizations; 5+ years overall of related experience in technology POSITION LOCATION OneOme Headquarters, 807 Broadway St NE, Suite 100, Minneapolis, MN 55413 or Remote. SCHEDULE AND HOURS This position will require the ability to work Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM, with some flexibility. WORK ENVIRONMENT OSHA RISK FACTOR CATEGORY 1. ROLE DESCRIPTION The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will work closely with laboratory staff and other departments at OneOme. The individuals in this role will be responsible for several phases of the testing workflow including DNA extraction, real-time PCR, and data analysis. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs high complexity, clinical molecular testing according to stringent procedures and regulatory standards. In addition, this position will be involved in assay development and validation, QA/QC, among other duties assigned by the director of laboratory operations. This position requires excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Performs sample accessioning, DNA extraction, PCR testing, and data review according to standard operating procedures Performs quality control and quality assurance activities, including the maintenance of associated records, monthly and annual reviews, and internal audits Supports all aspects of laboratory development activities including new method and assay development, workflow/process optimization, analytical validations, and software verification testing Develops written technical and/or scientific content for procedures, policies, white papers, or peer-reviewed publications Occasionally assists with non-laboratory functions including clerical duties, inventory control, client service activities, and other duties or responsibilities as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or other Biologic Science (e.g. Biology) is required ASCP certification, or eligibility for certification in a related specialty (e.g. MB) is required Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience, with at least 1 year in molecular testing laboratory environment; prior experience in a CLIA laboratory environment preferred Working knowledge of molecular biology analytical techniques including DNA isolation, real-time PCR, and SNP genotyping, preferably in the areas of pharmacogenomics Experience with laboratory automation/liquid handling, in-house assay development, and validation activities including primer and probe design, assay optimization and troubleshooting Ability to work in a small start-up environment at a fast pace, interacting across multiple disciplines POSITION LOCATION OneOme Headquarters, 807 Broadway St NE, Suite 100, Minneapolis, MN 55413 SCHEDULE AND HOURS This position will require the ability to work Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM and occasionally assigned work hours may also include evenings or weekends.
