Overview
The Baker at Wooddale Church will produce a wide range of breads, cakes, cookies, scones, muffins and other baked goods as well as manage baked goods stock rotation and inventory.
Responsibilities
· Prepare and/or bake breads, custards, choux, cakes, and cookies by recipe and/or instruction.
· Assist in the continued organization of stocks of all perishable and nonperishable consumables.
· Set up, maintain, and break down station.
· Taste and/or feel products produced to assess quality.
· Maintain or embrace sanitary and efficient mixing and baking skills.
· Notify Supervisor of all product shortages and equipment maintenance issues.
· Prepare items in accordance with established scaling, portion and presentation standards.
· Maintain accurate counts on all food items prepared ensuring no discrepancies in amount of food needed versus amount of food prepared.
· Manage personal production of all product to fulfill standing orders and maintain an inventory of fresh goods at all times while managing time effectively.
· Use food preparation equipment according to manufacturer's instructions.
· Clean and maintain station while practicing proper safety, sanitation and organizational skills.
· FIFO receivables into walk-in cooler and freezer in a well-organized and sanitary fashion.
· Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
· Report to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to assume responsibilities.
· Maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers.
· Any other duties as assigned by the Foodservice Director that fall within the scope of your training and experience or as acquired through specific on the job training.
Requirements
· Basic practical understanding of classical bread production, breakfast pastry preparation, cake, cookie, custard, choux paste production, filling/icing production and utilization, scaling, mixing, baking and FIFO stock rotation.
· Understand and appreciate the subtleties of flavor, texture, crumb, proper proof/rise, and proper bake time/temp.
· Ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.
· Possess a dedication to understanding and following protocol and know when and how to use creativity effectively.
· Basic understanding of cake, cookie, bread, custard, choux-based product staging, mixing, scaling and baking processes from beginning to end.
· Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures and a commitment to quality and what it takes to achieve that high standard of quality.
· Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
· Proactive and react quickly and appropriately in identifying problems, find solutions, and make sound decisions.
· Articulate information, both verbally and in writing, in a way that can be easily understood by employees, customers, and suppliers.
· Maintain a commitment to honesty, integrity, and good levels of efficiency and accuracy at all times.
· Ability to produce all baked goods at a satisfactory level of quality.
· Ability to accept constructive criticism in order to raise and maintain the performance standard.
· A mind open to new ideas, techniques, and alternatives to what may be already known and comfortable.

Qualifications
· An Associate's degree in Baking & Pastry Arts is preferred but six months to 2 years of custard, choux, cake and cookie experience is required.
· Production, commercial or professional bakery or restaurant experience preferred.
· Availability on Mondays thru Fridays to start.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends and holidays as required.
· Certification in sanitation and safe food-handling practices or willing to complete upon employment (Wooddale will provide this, if needed.)
Physical Demands
· A Baker duties are performed primarily in the kitchen. A Baker may be exposed to various temperature changes and work environments. Work includes walking, standing (primarily), bending, lifting and carrying products weighing up to 50 pounds.
· Duties also include repetitive arm and hand movements for a significant portion of the work day.
Relationships
· Reports to the Food Service Director.
· Works with designated food service staff.
· Works well with volunteer staff.

Overview
Supports the administrative and logistical needs of the Traditional Worship Pastor, traditional service, and assists the Creative Arts team as needed with scheduling, programming and administrative duties.
Responsibilities
• Creates payroll check requests for all musicians in each weekly service (and/or church-wide events) at the Eden Prairie campus
• Tracks traditional worship expenses for large events under the direction of Traditional Worship Pastor
• Orders and prepares music for the traditional choir and musicians with the assistance of the Traditional Music Volunteers (details below)
• Oversees and assists choir volunteers such as the music library team
• Serves as a member of the choir leadership team
• Chooses and contracts traditional instrumentalists using orchestra management software
• Schedules rooms and creates setup sheets for church-wide events, special services and traditional services
• Creates weekly traditional service lyrics document and provides it to the Technical Ministry
• Follows up on all Creative Arts inquiries through connection cards or website
• Schedules instrument tuning and maintenance
• Traditional Music Volunteer Responsibilities:
• prepares music for the traditional choir and musicians
• pulling/copying new songs
• Stuffing folders
• Filing music after use

Overview
The Volunteer & Community Engagement Associate will focus on recruiting, training, and equipping volunteers, as well as building relationships with church and community partners to further the mission of the Family Resource Initiative.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Volunteer Leadership and Recruitment:
· Identify, recruit, and onboard new volunteers through targeted outreach campaigns, church announcements, and community partnerships.
· Develop training modules and orientation materials to equip volunteers with the necessary skills and knowledge.
· Implement a tracking system to monitor volunteer engagement, attendance, and effectiveness in assigned roles.
· Organize quarterly volunteer appreciation events and feedback sessions to encourage retention and continuous improvement.
· Collaborate with the Communications Team to create promotional materials, digital campaigns, and social media strategies for volunteer recruitment.
· Assist Volunteer Leaders addressing any challenges that arise.
· Provide ongoing mentorship and check-ins with volunteers to assess their needs, ensure alignment with program goals, and foster engagement.
Church Partnerships and Community Engagement:
· Maintain relationships and act as a point of contact for community organizations, social service agencies and local churches to enhance program reach and impact.
· Represent the Family Resource Initiative at community networking events, resource fairs, and collaborative meetings.
· Track, report and collaborate on community engagement efforts, including partnership development, event participation, and outreach effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in volunteer coordination, community outreach, or program support in a church or nonprofit setting.
• Strong relationship-building skills with volunteers, church leaders, and community organizations.
• Excellent communication and public speaking abilities to engage diverse groups effectively.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office, volunteer management software, and digital marketing tools is a plus.

OVERVIEW
The Program Support Associate will engage directly with families participating in the Housing Assistance Program, provide administrative and logistical support across program areas, and collaborate with the Family Resource Initiative team to further the mission of equipping families with holistic, gospel-centered resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Housing Assistance Program Support:
• Administer the intake process by reviewing applications, verifying eligibility, and entering data into tracking systems.
• Manage application follow-ups, ensuring timely communication with families and tracking progress through established benchmarks.
• Support volunteer Family Partners by developing training materials, scheduling check-ins, and providing ongoing resources to enhance their effectiveness.
• Assist in evaluating program outcomes by collecting feedback, tracking success stories, and compiling impact reports.
• Develop supportive relationships with families in the Housing Assistance Program by maintaining regular check-ins, offering encouragement, and connecting them with additional resources.
• Act as a liaison between families and volunteer Family Partners, ensuring that both relational and practical needs are addressed promptly.
Administrative Leadership:
• Maintain accurate records of program participants, ensuring data is updated regularly and securely stored.
• Track financial assistance disbursements, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines and reporting standards.
• Coordinate scheduling for program events, workshops, and support meetings.
• Generate monthly reports on program participation, progress, and challenges for review by leadership.
• Collaborate with the Communications Team to develop content that highlights program impact, success stories, and upcoming events.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in program support in a church or nonprofit setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for building relationships with families and volunteers.
