Description
The Facility Services department is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Worker to join the County Home School (CHS) campus.

Location and hours: This position is located at the County Home School at 14300 County Road 62, Minnetonka, MN 55345. Work hours will vary between 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and may be extended during weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays to accommodate the needs of the facility.

In this position, you will:
· Maintain outside grounds, roads, parking lots, operating equipment like skid loaders, tractors, snow plowing equipment, trucks, and turf equipment.
· Clean and maintain mechanical storage areas like, garages, shops, and common areas; minor site repairs.
· Hang wall fixtures for departments, complete setups, furniture moves, provide support to site facility workers such as mechanical filter replacement.
Need to have:
· One of the following:
o One year or more of custodial or general mechanical and facilities maintenance experience.
o Completion of the Building Operations Technician Pathway training program.
· A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a Hennepin County driver's permit.
Nice to have:
· Experience with using landscaping equipment.
· Construction work experience.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
