Behavioral Health is hiring an Office Support Specialist III position to provide clerical support for services and programs in Behavioral Health. This position requires that the individual has strong clerical skills, proficiency working with computers, technology, and navigating database applications. In addition, we are looking for someone with strong customer service skills along with verbal and written communication skills who can function independently and respond to established deadlines for work completion.
Location and hours:
This position is remote. Remote workers may be required to come on-site 0 to 12 days a year for work meetings, trainings, or for any other reasons that their supervisor may deem necessary (may include additional days for onboarding and new employee training). Supervisors will provide as much advance notice as practicable. Work hours will typically be Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Based on business needs of this position, hires must live in or relocate to Minnesota.
In this position, you will:
Coordinate and schedule team meetings and document meeting minutes.
Gather and coordinate information from the Social Services Information System (SSIS) and other data systems.
Input, retrieve, export, and modify information and data in the data collection systems.
Monitor external requests and utilize work processes to respond to the requests and create reports.
Write, prepare, and proofread specialized correspondence, lists, reports, and other standard office documents.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Need to have:
One of the following:
Two years or more of full-time office clerical experience.
Completion of two years or more of post-high school education.
18 months or more of office clerical experience and completion of the Office Specialist Pathway Training program.
One year or more of office clerical experience and completion of the Human Services Pathway Training program.

Experience:
Using the SSIS system and/or other database systems and performing data entry where accuracy is essential.
Providing service in a culturally diverse area and communicating with a diverse group of residents and coworkers.
Utilizing Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
