GENERAL SUMMARY The Associate Vice President (AVP) of Government Programs is responsible for strategic leadership and performance of Government businesses, with primary accountabilities in five categories: readiness, client management, influence, strategy, and growth. GENERAL SUMMARY This position is responsible for all administrative tasks associated with Underwriting as well as additional responsibilities associated with the approval/administration of selected Community and Individually Rated groups. The Underwriting Specialist supports the Underwriting team to ensure the department's goals and objectives are met. The Underwriting Specialist is responsible for creating and distributing various reports to all levels of management. Complete SalesForce Forms requiring approval for new and existing pooled and large groups ensuring that all applicable underwriting guidelines have been adhered to and that approval is accomplished based on established turnaround times. Prepare monthly individually rated renewal summary and distribute the finalized summary to appropriate parties in an accurate and timely manner. Summarize and tally census data for use in proposal preparation. Develop, maintain and deliver underwriting reporting activities, tools, dashboards, and metrics as required by management.
